Out of her Hands By Megan DiMaria Posted on October 7, 2008 12:00 AM MST by Kasey Heinly
Any mom would find it easy to relate to Linda’s daily struggles over her family and career. Her sense of humor and spunk kept the story entertaining and light. All the characters were engaging and realistic. Out of Her Hands is the sequel to Megan DiMaria’s Searching for Spice, which was released by Tyndale House Publishers in March of 2008. |

For Denver mom, Linda Revere, things are looking a little crazy. At work, finds herself bouncing between challenging clients and gossiping coworkers. At home, her family still grieves over the recent loss of her mother-in-law. Her daughter, a high school senior, is struggling with college applications, and her son, a college student who is usually warm and open, is suddenly prickly and reclusive. When Linda discovers the reason—a stunning beauty with ‘wrong girl’ written all over her—Linda knows she has a serious problem. After all, she spent her children’s growing up years praying for their future spouses, and her son’s new love interest doesn’t seem to fit the bill. So now what? As Linda struggles with what to do, her best friend makes a shocking announcement: she’s moving across the country. How will Linda manage now, when everything seems so out of control? Or… is it?
