About MomStories.org

The deepest convictions of our heart are formed by stories … Story is the language of the heart. Our souls speak not in the naked facts of mathematics or the abstract propositions of systematic theology; they speak the images and emotions of story.
                                                       – John Eldredge, The Sacred Romance

We love stories. We love telling them, we love hearing them, we love watching them unfold. Stories have the power to engage our interest, expand our understanding, encourage our spirits, and enlighten our souls. Through the power of stories, we want to give moms everywhere an opportunity to discover more about faith, experience divine hope, and encounter God’s love. That’s our mission, and that’s what this Web site is all about.

Sara Richardson, Editor

Sara Richardson is a freelance writer and editor. She has a diverse resume that includes experience in public relations, copywriting and advertising, Internet communications, television production, and whitewater rafting. Though she has been writing fiction since she could hold a pencil, she just recently started to seek publication for her stories. In 2008, Sara was a double finalist in the American Christian Fiction Writers’ Genesis Contest. She has published articles in Faith and Family magazine and Women of Faith’s Connection magazine. Sara earned a Master of Arts in Journalism from Regent University and a Bachelor of Arts in Writing from Bethel University. She currently lives in Colorado with her saint of a husband, their two angelic boys, and their not-so-angelic chocolate lab.

Tiffany Kinerson, Editor

Tiffany and her husband live in Kingwood, Texas, with their two boys and a 90-lb. black Lab. After her husband’s military deployments and then commercial airline trips left her alone with her thoughts too much, she resorted to writing novels. She has three under her belt, two worth mentioning. She is a 2008 ACFW finalist, has been published in HomeLife magazine and was featured on "All Girl Getaways: Episode 101, ‘Mommies Only.’" She has received mail in Texas, Italy, Arizona, Alaska, Nevada, Washington D.C., Oklahoma, Alabama, Washington state, and the local La Quinta. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas A&M University and holds a teaching certificate that she used to teach English, of course, and Latin, of all things. Snippets of any and all the above can be found in her stories past, present and future.
